Program and Compliance Officer

About the role:

The Program and Compliance Officer is central to the international development work across 9 countries and assists with the design and implementation of the INA international programs strategy, supports overseas partners with the design, monitoring and evaluation of projects, supports overseas partners with organisational capacity strengthening and has key policy compliance and administrative responsibilities.

About you:

  • Highly developed interpersonal skills – personal engagement skills and demonstrated ability in establishing and building relationships
  • Experience in compliance management in the international development sector or relatable compliance coordination experience and track record or capacity to be trained in this
  • Experience and knowledge of project lifecycle management, including planning tools such as logical framework and Theory of Change
  • Experience in project budgeting and sound project financial management
  • Experience in developing and managing international development projects, including government grants
  • Knowledge of ACFID’s and DFAT’s Quality Standards and Compliance requirements
  • Demonstrable commitment to the cause of international development
  • Highly developed interpersonal skills – demonstrated ability in establishing and building relationships with partners, donors, and with internal and external stakeholders
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to communicate sensitively and respectfully with donors, and with internal and external stakeholders, including cross-cultural communication
  • Strong results orientation approach and high level of perseverance
  • Strong time management and organisational skills, with the demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
  • Strong commitment to the values of INA

Donor and Relationships Coordinator 

About the role

The Donor Relations & Community Relations Coordinator ensures we positively engage with our supporters and communicate the impact of their support in creative and compelling ways.  The role will provide exceptional service and a relationship-based approach in being responsible for supporter engagement and stewardship and enhancing donor experience through engagement via phone and email correspondence, and ensuring all supporter records are updated in the CRM database system. Additionally, this role will require processing donor donations and monthly batches, monthly payment reminders and payment management. You will have a history or willingness to deliver outstanding results in data management while inspiring people to support a cause that aligns with INA’s work.

About you

You will have:

  • Highly developed interpersonal skills – personal engagement skills and demonstrated ability in establishing and building relationships,
  • Experience or and/or willingness to learn about using a CRM database,
  • Competent in maintaining information in a database for consistent recording and reporting of supporter/customer engagement activity,
  • A strong commitment and alignment with INA’s mission, vision and values and philosophy,
  • An enthusiastic, proactive self-starter willing to learn and contribute to organisational growth,
  • You will be a skilled administrator and communicator.

About the role

You will have an exceptional personal engagement skills and warmly engage through outbound and some inbound national and local telephone conversations with potential supporters who are: prospective donors who have a heart for international development; businesses, service clubs, churches or schools who are interested in INA and our work for the poor and global poverty.

You will have a genuine passion for international development and equity, you’ll value being able to do good.

About you

You will have:

  • Highly developed interpersonal skills – personal engagement skills and demonstrated ability in establishing and building relationships.
  • Experience in any of the key sectors: international development; education or schools; churches or theology; business and/or donor or customer relations.
  • A strong commitment and alignment with INA’s mission, vision and values and philosophy statement.
  • An enthusiastic, proactive self-starter willing to learn and to contribute to organisational growth.
